Dividend income of August

Time to report dividends again. After a very slow month of July let’s see if August is a better month. August should be better since July was not a high flyer! Well, without further ado, let’s look at the results of last month!

Dividend income of August

This month I have 4 companies paying me dividend.

In total they paid me € 32,97 in net dividends after taxes and using the current conversion rates. See the below table!

Company name Ticker Dividend
Royal Bank of Canada RY € 4,49
Abbott ABT € 4,48
Omega Healthcare Investors OHI €18,02
Proctor & Gamble Inc. PG € 6,97
Total € 33,96

My dividend income for August 2016 was € 16,10 which results in a 110,9% increase compared to last year! A superb month again and much better then last month! The growth comes from growth in dividend pay out and because OHI is added compared to last year.

Dividend increases

Omega Healthcare Investors increased the dividend this quarter. Look at the dividend increase report for more details!

Contributions and purchases

I added € 400,00 in cash to my dividend portfolio.

This month I didn’t buy any stocks.

Conclusion

August is a great month again with good dividend growth. I wish all months where like this! A nice result and I’m happy to report it. My dividend increased almost 111% compared to last year and I had 1 dividend increase.

How was your month? Are you happy with your dividend income? Have you made any new buys or did you receive dividend increases?

Don’t hesitate to leave a comment!

  1. That’s some impressive growth year on year! That addition of OHI to your portfolio really made the difference. Good job!
My dividends on August increased only 3% YoY but that’s just pure dividend increases so at least I didn’t need to do anything to gain that.
    Best of Luck!
