Dividend increase Omega Healthcare Investors
At the 12th of January the board of Omega Healthcare Investors decided to increase the quarterly dividend from $ 0,61 to $ 0,62 per quarter. This means an increase of $ 0,04 per share per year which translates to a 1,64% increase. The dividend is paid on February the 15th 2017 to shareholders of record on January the 31st 2017. This is the 18th consecutive increase in the quarterly dividend. This is an 8,77% increase compared to the dividend in the same quarter of last year!
Since I have 39 shares this increase means that my yearly dividend for Omega Healthcare is now $ 96,72, up from $ 95,16 or a $ 1,56 increase in yearly dividends. After taxes I will receive $ 82,21 per year from the company.
This increase means Omega Healthcare currently yields 7,62% and my yield on cost rises to 8,49%.
You have to love OHI. This is my first quarterly increase, but the company raises it’s dividend each quarter with 1 cent for the last 18 quarters! Talking about a consistent increase patron!
The expectation is that the quarterly rises will continue for the foreseeing future since OHI is doing well at the moment. Therefore this is a typical great dividend growth stock that I love!
